Soundwave Study I is part of a two piece exploration of soundwave form, created as a visual study of voice as presence, memory, and connection. Built on a handmade wooden cradled panel wrapped in canvas, the work layers acrylic paint, resined wood elements, and metal to form a structured, tactile waveform.

The contrast of matte and gloss finishes adds dimensionality. Matte surfaces soften the composition, while gloss elements catch the light and create a quiet sense of movement across the piece. The custom floating frame completes the work with a clean, contemporary edge.

This piece sets the foundation for the study, focusing on restraint, rhythm, and the physicality of sound translated into form.
