I want ordering to feel simple and supportive. These are the questions I get most often about memorial pieces and mixed media art.

About the Materials & Craft

Will my piece look exactly like the photo?
For one-of-a-kind pieces, the photos show the exact piece you’ll receive. For small-batch pieces, the photos show examples. Slight differences in color, finish, and texture are expected. Colors may also look different on your screen.

What materials do you use?
I work with a mix of materials: cement, wood, metal, paper elements, pigments, and sealants. Each one is chosen specifically so the piece feels grounded and intentional.

Are the pieces fragile?
They’re sturdy, but they’re still handmade. Components can chip, scratch, tear, or deform if they’re stressed. Gentle handling is best.

Memorial Vessels

Can your memorial vessels hold ashes?
Yes. They can hold cremated remains, but you can also use one for keepsakes. The remains stay inside their bag or container; they aren’t mixed into the materials used to make the vessel.

Do you offer personalization?
Personalization is available on some pieces. Each product listing will tell you whether engraving or color choices are offered and what options are available. If no options are listed, the piece is sold as shown.

How do I know what size urn I need?
A common planning guideline is about one cubic inch of interior space for each pound of body weight before cremation. Start by deciding whether you’re keeping all the remains or sharing a portion among family members. A keepsake or sharing vessel holds a portion; a full-size adult urn needs much more space.

Each of my vessel listings gives its interior capacity in cubic inches. If you plan to place a cremation bag or container inside, check its dimensions against the vessel’s interior measurements too. If you’re unsure what size you need, please reach out before ordering.

Customization

Can I request a custom piece?
Yes. If you’re looking for a specific color, a variation of something you’ve seen, or a memorial piece that incorporates ashes, that would fall under custom work. You’re welcome to reach out through the Contact Me page.  I take on custom work selectively, depending on alignment and availability.

Shipping & Timelines

How long will my vessel take to ship?
Most finished pieces ship within three to five business days unless otherwise noted.

What if I need it sooner?
If you’re on a tight timeline, send me a message before ordering. If the piece is already finished, I can often ship it sooner.

Do you ship internationally?
Not yet. I currently ship within the U.S. only.

Your piece is designed for typical indoor and car environments. Please see the Care Instructions included with your order.

Returns & Policies

Do you accept returns?
I don’t accept returns or refunds for studio pieces, including small-batch items. Please review the photos, product details, and any personalization choices carefully before ordering.
