Help & FAQs: Answers About Everlasting Echoes & Art Specifics
Gotta Have the FAQ's
I want ordering to feel simple and supportive. Below you’ll find answers to common questions about both memorial commissions and personal art purchases.
Memorial Art Commissions
How to Order
- Pick the piece you’d like and place your order (prices shown in USD).
- You’ll get a confirmation email with instructions on what to do next.
What is Artistic Infusion?
It’s the process where I carefully infuse your loved one’s ashes into the design you’ve chosen.
Will my finished piece look exactly like the photos?
Not exactly. Every piece is handmade, so things like ash placement, color tones, or bubbles in the resin/glass will vary. Just as your loved one was unique, your piece will be too. (And yes, monitor settings can make photos look a little different.)
Are ashes difficult to handle?
Understandably, yes — it can feel emotional. Take your time and trust your intuition. If it feels overwhelming, ask a friend or your funeral home to help. Ashes do need to arrive within three (3) months of purchase; after that, the order will be canceled.
How many ashes do I need?
Typically, 1–2 teaspoons. The exact amount will be noted in each product description.
How do I ship the ashes?
You’ll be responsible for shipping, including cost and packaging. USPS asks that cremains be sent using Priority Express. For step‑by‑step instructions, check out their official guide: Publication 139 – How to Package and Ship Cremated Remains.
And don’t stress — if the process feels confusing or you’re unsure about the packaging, I’ll still accept your shipment. If you’d like extra help, your funeral home can also guide you through mailing.
How do you make sure ashes are handled correctly?
Each order is labeled, handled, and stored individually with care.
What happens if there are unused ashes?
I usually use all of the ashes. If any remain, I’ll scatter them locally in a meaningful spot. If you’d prefer them returned, just note that at checkout (extra USPS fee of about $25 applies).
How long will my piece take?
Usually 2–4 weeks. I’ll email you a shipping confirmation once your piece is ready.
Personal Art (Non-Infused Orders)
What kinds of art do I make?
Abstract and contemporary mixed‑media pieces — mosaics, textured panels, layered compositions, and more.
Are these one‑of‑a‑kind?
Yes. Every piece is handmade, so expect natural variations in texture and color.
How long does shipping take?
Personal art usually ships within 1–2 weeks unless otherwise noted.
General Questions
How do I take care of my piece?
- Keep it looking new: Avoid sharp or rough objects that could scratch. Store indoors at 65–75°F.
- Cleaning: Use a soft cloth and wipe gently.
- Traveling or storing: Skip the bubble wrap — use craft/butcher paper first, then polyfoam.
Do you ship internationally?
Not yet — currently, I ship within the U.S. only, but I hope to offer this in the future.
Do you accept returns?
Because each piece is handmade, returns are limited. Please see my Returns & Refunds page for details.
Can I request a custom piece?
Absolutely — just reach out through the Contact Me form and we’ll talk through your ideas.
