Materials & Technique

I build each piece on handmade wooden cradled panels wrapped in canvas. The mosaic surface is made from cast fragments that cure to a smooth, stone-like finish, and I tint and place each one by hand to create subtle shifts in color and texture. I paint the wooden trim for warmth and finish the surface with a combination of matte and gloss varnish for protection and tactile contrast. The custom floating frame is finished with a soft, non- reflective matte spray.

Note: I photograph my work in natural light, but screens vary. Expect slight differences in tone or texture — this is part of the handcrafted nature of each piece.
