Mixed-Media Abstract Art

Rhythm in Red
Acrylic paint, acrylic resin

Rhythm in Red is a mixed media abstract artwork built with acrylic paint and textured acrylic resin. Raised circular forms create a rhythmic, sculptural surface, and the palette of reds and greys brings warmth, contrast, and movement to the composition. The concentric patterns overlap and intersect, shifting as the light moves across the surface.

Framed with a dark mat and black frame, the piece has a clean, structured presentation. The simple framing lets the color and texture stand out, highlighting the sculptural quality of the resin.

This artwork is a study in contrast, showing how a change in palette can shift the entire mood of a textured composition. It’s a warm, graphic piece with a steady sense of motion.
