Acrylic paint, metal, frozen juice lids
This mixed‑media wall piece brings together metal, acrylic paint, and repurposed frozen juice lids in a playful exploration of color, repetition, and everyday materials. Each circular form becomes its own tiny canvas, painted in bold acrylics and arranged in a clean grid that highlights its individual personalities. The variety of colors and patterns — from metallic sheens to layered brushwork — creates a lively rhythm across the composition.
Mounted on horizontal metal bars, the circles gain structure and presence, transforming humble, familiar objects into a cohesive contemporary display. The contrast between the industrial metal framework and the hand‑painted lids adds a sense of balance, grounding the piece while allowing the colors to shine.
This artwork reflects an early chapter in my practice, where experimentation with found materials and unconventional surfaces opened the door to a more expansive mixed‑media language. It’s a celebration of curiosity, resourcefulness, and the joy of turning everyday objects into something unexpectedly beautiful.
