Firelight Glow
Wood, metal, spray paint

Firelight Glow is a mixed media abstract artwork created with spray paint on metal. Layers of red, orange, and yellow move across the surface, blending into warm gradients and textured bursts of pigment. The metal base adds a subtle sheen beneath the color, giving the composition depth and a quiet sense of luminosity.

The wooden frame grounds the piece and offers a natural contrast to the intensity of the palette. Its clean lines balance the raw energy of the painted surface, creating a composition that feels both spontaneous and intentional. The result is a study in heat, movement, and the way color can evoke emotion without representing anything literal.

This piece reflects an early exploration of abstraction on unconventional surfaces, where metal becomes a canvas and spray paint becomes a way to create atmosphere rather than imagery.
